Angels of Darkness

When It All Started

Angels of Darkness first started with the idea of the clan at the end of July 2006. Founders of the clan were Ocelot, raXion and a few days later Twilight.

We Set up the clan in August 2006. In order to do this Ocelot and Twilight left TWF their former clan, which folded after they left.

We started with a 6 slot laggy server and a simple website. One of our founders, AoD|Ocelot, is still a member of the clan today. AoD| stands for Angels Of Darkness.

How It Grew

The clan became bigger and bigger as months went passed. We managed to get our hands on a 16 slot gaming server which served us well between September and December. The website got developed and the clan was becoming very successful.

The future was looking promising. However the patch 2.56 has got under 40 servers on it now, compared to over 3,000 on 2.60(b) patch. So we decided to move to 2.60 but then changed our mind. 2.56 is our home.

Our Aim

To improve as a clan, in shooting, game skills and team play. To provide a quality fun server for the public in game and on voice. To make new friends and get along with new players. To challenge other clans to wars and tournaments. To win as many wars and scrims as possible. To be valued community member of Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory Patch 2.56 and become more well known. To keep the clan ongoing for as long as possible.

<AoDS>

<AoDS> was made as a sub section of the clan in late 2006. <AoDS> meaning Angels of Darkness Snipers. Ocelot was the leader at the start and for some time afterwards. When Ocelot left <AoDS> and returned to <AoD>, he left the command to the semi admins MaGiC and FAZOL and Starlight. <AoDS> grew to have a total of about 6 sniper members, unfornatly due to the lack of competition and interest; the clan closed the <AoDS> sub section in early 2007.

Today In The Clan

At the time of writing this, AoD| has 22 members including admins. We are currently ordering a 16-slot public server on ET2.56 . We also have a teamspeak server with 20 slots. You can find the IP addresses of our servers on the forums.

The clan is run by Thoti, with the close help of Hate. Also we have a Senate, who are helping us in leading. Senate Members: Ocelot, AwAke, Blind, Zvona, Tinker.

We have active forums with nearly 400 members, talking about the latest jokes and ET news. As well as discussing clan tactics and wars in the members-only sections. Technical support is also available in a sub forum.

We try to play scrims often, usally at the weekends. We are becoming increasely successful and always have a good laugh with our wars. We constantly improve our teamwork, game and shooting skills along the way.

In <AoD> expect a weekly scrim or two and a training session. We are currently trying to build up a reputation of being a respected strong clan in this game and in ET2.56!
